JULIAN MAYOR AT LIK+NEON
Written By Bacall Michaels

I’m slightly bewildered to why I’m drawn to this bit of furniture. It’s simple yet intricate- it’s shined steel.

The design of the chair triggered Andreia Chaves‘ “Invisible Shoes” instantly upon glance. Through the mirrored surface, it absorbs its surroundings- reflecting and distorting them.
Squished aside Brick Lane, Julian Mayor exhibited at Lik+Neon during London Design Festival. The piece stood alone, acknowledging all animate to inanimate, at the odd orange shop with a surplus of cats.
